Speaker: Jason Bett, Public Service Pride Champion and Visiting Senior Advisor for 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusion at the Canada School of Public Service

Jason Bett is an experience public servant, community builder, and communicator. With a career spanning over twenty years, he has held leadership positions in the Federal Public Service, advising various ministers and working in federal organizations such as Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), Industry Canada, Treasury Board Secretariat and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Recently, he was the Executive Director in the Digital Talent and Leadership Sector within the Office of Canada’s Chief Information Officer. Prior to that, he served as Director General at ISED. Jason is a dedicated champion for a safe and inclusive Federal Public Service, leading the Public Service Pride Network since its inception in 2018. Jason holds a political science degree from the University of Ottawa and was honored with an APEX Award of Excellence in 2020.

Jason is currently Visiting Senior Advisor at the Canada School of Public Service, focusing on 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusion, while also continuing to champion the Public Service Pride Network.
