Register for the 2026 CIPMM Annual National Workshop
Attention! Early Bird Registration Ends March 31st, 2026.
Don’t miss your chance to register for the 2026 CIPMM National Workshop at early bird rates! Due to high demand and venue capacity limits, once in-person passes are sold, only virtual passes will remain available. If you want to join us in person, we encourage you to secure your pass now.
Our virtual pass option is perfect for delegates who prefer to attend remotely or are located outside the National Capital Region. Attend the Workshop from the comfort of your own space, with no travel approvals required!
This year, we are excited to offer new single-day passes for both in-person and virtual attendance, providing added flexibility for teams and budgets, alongside the traditional three-day options.
Also new in 2026: all virtual passes, whether one-day or three-day, provide access to all breakout sessions and keynote presentations scheduled for the selected day(s). Sessions will be live streamed and recorded, giving virtual delegates the flexibility to choose which sessions to attend live and watch any missed sessions on demand.
Great news for in-person delegates too! All sessions scheduled for the selected day(s) will be available on demand after the Workshop, making it easy to revisit content and catch anything you may have missed.
Secure your spot today and take advantage of Early Bird pricing!
DID YOU KNOW ??
In September 2017, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat published the Guide to Travel, Hospitality, Conference and Event Expenditures. This guide provides best practices for implementing the Treasury Board Directive of the same name. This guide defines what is considered a conference or an event, and what is considered training, It also establishes the responsibility for the government-wide functional lead to objectively determine, on a case- by-case basis, whether a large information sharing or learning session are to be considered conferences or training.
On September 15, 2017 the Comptroller General of Canada, the government-wide functional lead for procurement and materiel management, determined that the CIPMM Annual National Workshop is to be considered training! This means that departments no longer need to request conference and event approval to send delegates to the National Workshop.
Departments simply need to follow their regular training approval processes. For more information on this decision, please refer to the Guide at http://intranet.canada.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=32553
You can also find the table indicating the Comptroller General’s decision at http://www.gcpedia.gc.ca/wiki/Financial_Management_Policy_Suite/Conference_versus_training Please note that these two links are only accessible on the Government of Canada network.
